IN SYNC BREATHWORK PRANAYAMA

Breathing is life – and yet in everyday life we often forget how powerful and transformative our breath can be.
In this training, you will delve deeply into the world of conscious breathing: We combine the wisdom of classical pranayama techniques with modern insights into the nervous system, somatic breathwork, and the emotional power of music.

InSync Breathwork means breathing in resonance.
Your breath is accompanied by musical landscapes—performed by artists like Moses Sumney—that help you move through challenging breathing phases, hold emotions safely, and allow new depths to emerge. Music becomes not just a background, but an active tool for regulation, guidance, and transformation.

You will learn to read your breath, use it, and share it with others – with sensitivity, knowledge, and intuition.
Whether as a yoga teacher, coach, therapist, or simply for yourself – this training opens the space for you to teach breathwork with clarity, depth, and heart.

TRAINING CONTENT

Pranayama traditional

You'll delve into the spiritual depths of prana, nadis, and koshas—based on the classical texts. We'll make this teaching tangible and demonstrate how it can be meaningfully integrated into mindful teaching today.

Voice and vibration

Humming, buzzing, vowels, mantras – you will learn how your own voice and frequency ranges become part of your breathing practice and deepen its effect.

Body & nervous system

You will learn how breathing patterns are linked to the autonomic nervous system, how to activate the vagus nerve, and which techniques have a calming or activating effect – supplemented by modern neuroresearch (polyvagal theory).

Energetic types

You will learn how to adapt your breathing to Vata, Pitta, or Kapha states—both for yourself and in group classes.

Pranayama & Music

Classical exercises such as Kapalabhati, Nadi Shodhana, Ujjayi, and Bhramari are not just taught—they are brought to life through music. You'll learn how music, as a supportive accompaniment, facilitates access and creates emotional depth.

Keep space

How do I safely lead an intensive breathing exercise? How much should I talk—and when should I consciously remain silent? You'll learn to open spaces, guide them, and close them again.

TRAINING PROCESS

The training is designed to provide you with solid theoretical knowledge while simultaneously introducing you to a direct, personal breathing experience. It is deliberately concise, in-depth, and practice-oriented.

🔹 On-site module (10 hours on-site)

In the studio we experience together the essence of the InSync philosophy:

  • Traditional pranayama techniques (e.g. Kapalabhati, Nadi Shodhana, Ujjayi, Bhramari)

  • Breath in connection with music and sound

  • Somatic breathwork & energetic space holding

  • Sequence structure and voice use in breathing lessons

  • Breathing sessions in a group setting, accompanied by consciously chosen music

This part is experiential, physically tangible, and allows you to directly feel, practice, and guide the various techniques.

🔹 Self-practice (10 hours individually)

Between or after the modules, you take time for your own practice.
You document and reflect:

  • Personal breathing experiences & techniques

  • Journaling questions & emotional processes

  • Building up small breathing units (20–45 minutes)

  • Playlist experiments & your own musically guided flows

Self-practice helps you integrate what you have learned, find your own paths, and develop an authentic language for your future breathwork.
